At the Portsmouth Recycling Centre
If it is in good condition and could be reused think about giving it away to people in need through charities and other local organisations.
If it is broken or in bad condition and cannot be reused, you can take it for free to the Portsmouth Recycling Centre for recycling.
Household furniture in good condition can be offered for reuse in the onsite sales area. Please speak to a member of staff if you think you have something suitable for reuse.
Please note:If you intend to use a van or trailer to dispose of bulky waste, please be aware that a 5'9 (1.75m) height barrier is in operation every day except all day on a Friday and Saturday mornings. For more information visit: trade waste and height barrier.
If you're unable to use the above options to recycle or re-use your item(s), you can have it collected from your home as a special bulky collection, which is chargeable.
