Seafront Management

Based at Castle Buildings, Avenue De Caen in Southsea, the Seafront Management team are responsible for much of the fabric of the seafront including seats, shelters, railings, sun huts and life aids.

They oversee most events held on Southsea Common and Castle Field and organise any overflow car parking which is required. They also provide a summer programme of entertainment at The Bandstand and children's entertainment at Canoe Lake.

Seafront Management are the on-site contact for many of the traders and concessionaires that work on the seafront. They also liase closely with HM Coastguard, lifeguards and other agencies on water safety issues.
