Launch of the 4 LSCB Safeguarding Procedures

The 4 LSCBs work closely together in developing procedures and policies as many of the agencies using them work across their boundaries. These new on line procedures replace the Child Protection Procedures published in 2007 which you may have in hard copy and should now be destroyed. The procedures apply in all statutory, private or voluntary sector organisations and should be used by all who work, in a paid or unpaid capacity, with children and their families in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton. This includes those providing services to adults who may have contact with children and young people.

They are in a completely new web-based format and divided into stand-alone chapters to make it easier to find the information that you need. You can now skip readily between linked sections via hyperlinks. The procedure manual is permanently available via the joint 4 LSCB website http://www.4lscb.org.uk/.
