A racist incident is any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person.
Hate Crime - Racial harassment can present itself in many forms and examples include:

- abusive text messages or phone calls
- damage to property
- graffiti
- physical assault
- printed material and literature
- verbal racial abuse and name calling
- victimisation and bullying of children by neighbours or other children
The Hate Crime team supports victims of racial, homophobic and transphobic abuse.
