Community Wardens
Last updated: 06 February 2007 09:55 UKCommunity Wardens are the "eyes and ears" of the community, providing a visible uniformed presence on the streets, parks and open spaces of Portsmouth.
We aim to make people feel safer, deter crime, tackle anti-social behaviour and to help keep Portsmouth clean and tidy. We work closely with partner agencies and local people to promote community groups and facilities, helping to build stronger and more confident communities.
Community Wardens are a friendly and approachable point of contact for all residents who need help and advice and we welcome reports of:
- abandoned vehicles
- antisocial behaviour
- criminal damage
- fly tipping
- graffitti
- noise and neighbour nuisance
