How to submit an application

There are two ways to summit planning application forms and pay your fees to us:

via the national '1APP' system over the Internet or
by completing paper forms

Online forms

Most '1APP' planning application forms are available online via the Planning Portal website. They can be completed and submitted online together with the necessary documentation and the correct fee. Use the Planning Portal link in the right hand column and follow the on-screen instructions.

Paper forms

Most '1APP' planning application forms can be downloaded via the Planning Portal website and then posted back to the address below with the necessary documentation and payments. Use the Planning Portal link in the right hand column to download paper forms and follow the on-screen instructions

Alternatively paper copies of the forms are available from us.

From 6 April 2008 all planning applications submitted to us must use '1APP' application forms. Applications submitted on or after 6 April 2008 not on 1APP forms will be regarded as invalid.
