3. Local Transport Objectives
Portsmouth has set its transport objectives in accordance with Government’s shared priorities and added maintenance as a fifth objective given the city’s unique approach.These local objectives derive from the recently developed long term transport vision for the city and are strongly linked with the Community Strategy and the Corporate Plan to ensure consistency and to emphasise the links between Portsmouth’s strategies.
