Book of Remembrance
The Book of Remembrance has been placed in a specially designed cabinet in the Chapel at both Milton and Kingston cemetery and will be permanently on display to the public between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
The page with the inscription will be open on the first anniversary of the date of death and on that same day each year thereafter.
It is necessary for the book to be sent away for the inscription to be entered by expert craftsmen and in order for a desired inscription to be open on the first anniversary, instructions should be received within three months of the date of death.
In addition - Service badges, floral emblems or organisational crests (such as Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, British Legion, Salvation Army, Trade Union, R.W.V.S. Red Cross, St. John Ambulance etc.) may be incorporated in the inscription. Please contact the cemetery office for further advice regarding any other organisational badge.
