Last updated: 10 April 2012 14:09 UKThe reduction of road casualties is an important priority for us. Through road safety education, engineering projects and effective traffic management we aim to achieve a safer road network for the people of Portsmouth.
The annual casualty report and road safety plan lays out a clear way forward for reducing the number of road user casualties and improving the safety of the city’s highway infrastructure. As well as forward planning, the report also looks at how Portsmouth has fared in its aims so far. In addition it gives updates on completed work and identifies future improvements.
