What is Your Health, Your Care, Your say?

It’s an exercise designed to find out what people want from health and social care services provided in the community.  That means things like your GP, family planning services, direct payments or directly provided services.  We’re asking you:

• What sort of services will you need?
• How would you like to use them?
• Who would you like to provide them?

Will my views be listened to?

Yes!   All views will influence a Government White Paper on community health and social care services.  This is a real opportunity to shape Government policy.

Who is being consulted?

People across the country are being asked for their views.  In Portsmouth, the Primary Care Trust and Portsmouth City Council are co-ordinating giving as many people as possible the chance to have their say – from the city’s Local Strategic Partnership to voluntary and community groups. If you’re holding an event or workshop and would also like to participate in the consultation on Your Health, Your Care, Your say – let us know as a resource pack is available.
