Northern Quarter Redevelopment Site (City Centre North)
Last updated: 15 December 2010 10:38 UKWe are working in partnership with our development partner Centros to achieve the comprehensive development of this site. This will enable Portsmouth to compete with the UK’s major retail destinations.
Since the 2008 planning applications were considered by the city council, Centros has stated that the project will be redesigned. We are working with Centros on the revised scheme and will make sure that the public are consulted on the proposals at the appropriate time.
As the Northern Quarter comes forward, we will ensure that the proposals seamlessly integrate with the rest of Commercial Road through the City Centre Improvements scheme and projects in Station Square and Station Street.
