Paulsgrove landfill site

The site forms part of an area of former inter-tidal mudflats that have been used for waste landfill purposes since 1970.

The whole landfill area totals some 75 hectares and includes part of Port Solent and the public open space between Port Solent and Horsea Island, as well as the current operative landfill site (approximately 52 hectares).
