Isle of Wight ferry

This fact sheet outlines the history of the Isle of Wight (IOW) ferries and the facts that affected their location.

The car ferry terminal was relocated from the Camber peninsula to the former Camber dry dock area on land off of Gunwharf Road in 1982 and the Hovercraft terminal was granted permission in July 1965.
