Gosport Ferry
The Gosport Ferry Ltd with almost 100 crossings every day, over three and a half million passengers in 2004 took the shortest route from Gosport, commuting to work, or for shopping and pleasure trips to Portsmouth. The journey involves taking a sea trip of approximately four minutes across the Harbour mouth on one of the two ferries operating on a shuttle service by Gosport Ferry Ltd.The views available from it up and down the Harbour, especially when the Royal Navy and Cross Channel vessels enter and leave the Harbour through the relatively small Harbour entrance way, can be spectacular.
