Gateway Project

This information sheet examines the background to the Portsmouth Gateway Project. It looks at the project’s aims and objectives, how it is organised and its sources of funding. It also covers the key elements of the project in detail.

The Gateway Project takes a co-ordinated approach to environmental improvements along the M27/M275/Mile End Road corridor into the city and provides an important opportunity to raise Portsmouth’s profile and attract inward investment.
