Our Policy Statement

To provide a first class licensing and registration service reflecting on the requirements of public safety.
To consider and consult the views of residents to ensure public order and prevent nuisances associated with the use of Licensed premises.
To consider and consult the views of license holders to help them provide a good public service.
To reduce bureacracy, red tape and jargon for the public, applicants and license holders and to review our working practices constantly.
To take strong enforcement action, be pro-active and maintain good links with the Police, Fire Brigade and other agencies.
To ensure fairness and consideration (on merit) of each and every licensing application.
To be honest, open in our dealings and approachable. To admit our mistakes and learn from them.
