Granting / renewing your Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence

Once you have completed steps 1-6 (see What Information must you provide to us? under internal links) we will be in a position to issue your licence which will expire on 30 April annually. You must provide:

• The appropriate licence fee, which will be shown on the application form.

If the Council refuses to grant/renew, suspends or revokes a Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence you have a right of appeal to the Magistrates Court.
