Rights of inspection - Scrap Metal Dealing
Any Police Constable may enter and inspect any scrap metal store or place used as part of the business and may also inspect records of dealings.
Council officers may enter and inspect any premises we believe are being used as a scrap metal store and which are not currently registered. If necessary, we may enter premises under the authority of a warrant.
