Conservation Area 28 - Essex Road
_rdax_225x169.JPG)
Essex Road is a good example of an early Edwardian terraced road. With its dominant late Victorian/ Edwardian architectural style, it makes a positive contribution to the visual amenity of the milton area of the city.
The avenue of hornbeam trees are of visual importance and the red brick terraced housing includes a variety of terra cotta details in a classical style, such as balustrades and pediments.
