Reporting a repair
To report a repair that is required in your property, contact your local area office by using the internal link to the right.
You will need to give us the following information:
- your address, including postcode
- contact availability - when it's best to contact you and if there are specific times to avoid such as a school run
- your telephone details, including a mobile number if available, so that our contractors can make a convenient appointment with you
- a brief description of what is wrong with your property
If your repair is an emergency and the area office is closed, call the 24 hour emergency response team on 023 9282 4224.
Repairs in communal areas
We are responsible for repairs to communal areas in blocks of flats including stairs, door entry systems, communal lighting, landings, communal windows, courtyards and sheds. If you notice a repair, please report it to us as soon as possible. You can report the repair by contacting your area office or an estate services officer in person around the estate. A receipt to confirm your request for repair will be offered.
Communal repairs will be inspected by a housing officer or estates service officer where we require more detail before issuing the repair. A regular check of our blocks is undertaken by estate service officers and at least 10% of all repairs are inspected by housing officers to ensure that the correct repair has been undertaken and to check the quality of the service recieved from the contractor.
