Our carbon management plan

Our low carbon vision is that we're committed to reducing our carbon emissions by 30% from operational buildings, transport and waste by 2014. We also want to minimise environmental impacts to improve quality of life in Portsmouth.
Between May 2008 and March 2009 we participated in phase 6 of the Carbon Trust’s carbon management programme. The main output from the programme is our carbon management plan, which lays out details of our carbon footprint and planned measures for reducing carbon emissions over the next 5 years.
