Free Swimming Initiative
This scheme offers free swimming to those people aged under 16 and over 60, and is supported by a two year government grant that started on 1 April 2009.
Free swimming is available at the following swimming pools; Eastney Swimming Pool, St Luke's Community Sports Centre and the Mountbatten Leisure Centre 50m pool. It's not available at the Pyramids Centre as this is a leisure pool and not a traditional swimming pool.
For further details of when you can take up this free swimming offer, please contact the swimming pools direct or look at the timetables below. Once you have identified a suitable public session from the timetable, you can go along to the pool, where you will be asked to fill in a brief registration form on your first visit. You can print off a copy of the registration leaflet below.
