Kit hire
Last updated: 09 October 2008 11:40 UKThe Outdoor Education Unit has a well equipped kit store with a variety of items needed for walking, camping and also bicycle hire.
Store opening times
Equipment can only be collected or dropped off on the following days at these times:
- Tuesdays 9.30am to 12.30pm
- Thursdays 12.30 to 5pm
The hirer is required to notify the Outdoor Education Unit in advance of when they intend to pick up equipment and will arrange with the unit when they will return the kit.

There will be a discount of 50% for all DoE units or leaders undertaking training that is recognised by Portsmouth City Council and Hampshire County Council only if the equipment is returned in good condition and dry.
Please note that we recommend boots be tried before booking, most UK sizes are available between 6 and 10.

There is a deposit of £50 for the use of the trailer and a deposit of £40 per bike (both are waived for Portsmouth City Council)
