The Alcohol Interventions Team (AIT) offers support, information, advice and signposting to individuals who drink above 'safe' levels of alcohol for whatever reason.
We can take referrals from a range of services, and aim to arrange appointments in a location that is accessible for the individual, such as their nearest GP surgery (subject to participation) or health/community centre.

We can take referrals from anyone, such as health or social care professionals, friends or relatives, as long as the person wishes to be referred. Individuals may also self-refer into the service. All appointments will be arranged with the individual.
Please discuss this with your GP or contact the team directly on 023 9284 1753 or email AIT@portsmouthcc.gov.uk to make an appointment with one of the us, or to ask any questions you have about the service.
