Transport for South Hampshire Freight Strategy
Last updated: 02 June 2010 15:51 UKA freight strategy has been prepared jointly by the Transport for South Hampshire (TfSH) authorities of Hampshire County Council, Porstmouth City Council and Southampton City Council.
The strategy refers to the area covered by the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH)/TfSH.
The strategy seeks to help the competitiveness of the freight, logistics and distribution sector and to find ways to address challenges such as growth of the ports of Southampton and Portsmouth, whilst mitigating the impacts of freight activities on the environment and the community. It seeks to identify the most important issues facing road, rail and maritime freight and suggest a range of potential options and means of addressing these issues.
The full freight strategy can be found at the TfSH website by clicking here.
