Nationality checking service
Last updated: 18 May 2010 13:15 UKPortsmouth registration service now offers a nationality checking service.
This service is for anyone applying for British nationality and enables them to have their completed application forms checked and their original documents photocopied and certified by a trained nationality adviser.
The forms and certified photocopies are then sent to the Home Office via a secure courier service for next morning delivery. For further information and to download an application form please visit the Home Office website.
The service is open to anyone, regardless of where they are living in the UK and is available by appointment only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The fees payable for this service, including VAT are:
- single application £50
- fammily application £150
When you book your appointment you will need to pay half of the fee required. This will be non-refundable. The other half will be payable at your appointment.
