Solent Transport Strategy

South Hampshire, has been identified by the government as a ‘growth area’. The Councils in the sub-region are co-ordinating the delivery of this growth through the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH).

The Solent Transport Strategy has been approved and adopted as the transport strategy for the area. It recognises that meeting the future transport needs of some one million people is a shared responsibility for the Councils that serve them.
