Smoking shelters

Smoke-free legislation comes into force in England at 6am on Sunday 1st July 2007.

The aim of the new law is to create smoke-free places, and to protect everyone from the harmful effects of passive or secondary smoke. Most public premises will be affected by this new legislation.

This leaflet aims to help you make decisions about outdoor smoking shelters.
