Services for Young People
Last updated: 27 May 2010 09:38 UKLibraries are not just for babies and children. We have also got great books for teens. All they have to do is head for the On The Edge section of their local library, where they will find anything from Marvel to Manga.
All libraries have a selection of magazines that young people will enjoy.
Teen Reading Groups
If you enjoy reading and sharing ideas, come along to the Teen Reading Group at Elm Grove library on the first Thursday of every month between 5pm and 6pm. It’s a chance to talk about books with other like minded young people in a fun, informal atmosphere. Refreshments, books and friendly company are provided. To join the group, email Dave Percival at libraries@portsmouthcc.gov.uk.
