Free school meals

To be able to have free school meals for your child, you must receive one of the following:

Income Support, or
Income Based Job Seekers Allowance (IBJSA), or
Asylum Seekers Allowance under part vi of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, or
Child Tax Credit provided you are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and with annual income less than £14,495, or
the Guarantee element of State Pension Credit

Families claiming Working Tax Credit are not entitled to free school meals.
