Children's Centres

Portsmouth City currently has six Children's Centres and the city has been awarded funding to create a further seven Children's Centres in 2006-2008.

A Children's Centre provides a range of high quality services for families with children in the 0-5 years old age range within pram pushing distance of their homes.  Each centre must provide early education linked with childcare, parent support and health services.
