Carnegie Library wins award
The Carnegie Library Sensory Garden has won 2 awards in the South and South East in Bloom competition. For more information, please see the 'South and South East in Bloom Award' page under 'News and special events'.

Essential catalogue maintenance
The library catalogue will not be available on Saturday 8th November from 5pm. Access will resume on Monday 10th. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.  

Library closures
All Portsmouth Libraries will close at 2pm on Tuesday 14th October and Monday 3rd November. Any library that normally closes for lunch at 12.30pm will not re-open that day. Books can still be renewed via the online catalogue or by calling the City Helpdesk on 023 9281 9311.
