Computer classes
Do you want to get online but can't use a computer? Southsea Library is an UK Online Centre and we are offering free courses to help you get started and improve your confidence. Working through Learn My Way courses on the Internet, you can take your first steps with computers and the Internet and learn at your own pace with support from friendly staff.It's so important to be able to use the Internet; you can save money, keep in touch with family and friends, find a job, swap your council house and make your life a lot easier.
We run 3 different sessions: Monday or Tuesday, from 2pm to 4pm and Saturday, 9.30am to 11.30am. If you are interested in having a go, please call Pat Garrett on 07960091722.
Computer training for the visually impaired
If you are visually impaired and want to learn how to use computers, we can help. We run a weekly drop-in and can offer support, training and advice. We meet every Thursday from 10am to 12 noon.

Reading Groups
The Southsea evening reading group meets monthly on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in the Lord Palmerston Pub on Palmerston Road. The Teen Reading Group meets once a month on Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm. For further information, please contact Pat Garrett on 07960091722.
Healthy Eating Group
The Healthy Eating Group meet every Monday morning from 10am to 12.30pm for advice on fitness and healthy eating. The session is drop-in so all are welcome.
Scrabble Club
The Club meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 2pm to 3.30pm. No need to book, just pop down and start playing.
Natty Knitters
This new knitting club meet on the first Monday of every month at 2pm. Beginners are welcome.
NHS Pompey Quit
Trying to give up smoking? Get some support and advice at this drop-in on Saturday, 1.30pm to 3pm.
Children's Services
Rhyme Time
Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am to 10.30am.
Story Time
Every Monday from 2pm to 2.30pm.
