School Organisation Plan 2003/04 to 2007/08

The School Standards & Framework Act 1998 requires each local authority to prepare a School Organisation Plan which sets out conclusions on the need to add or remove school places over a five year period.

The four previous School Organisation Plans for 1999/2000 to 2003/04, 2000/01 to 2004/05, 2001/02 to 2005/06 and 2002/03 to 2006/07 are available for inspection at the address below.  This plan covers the school years 2003/04 to 2007/08 and comprises three parts:-

• a statement of policies or principles relevant to the provision of school places within the local authority area
• demographic information relevant to the supply of school places;
• conclusions about the need to add or remove places in particular areas of the authority.
