The Word newsletter

Welcome to ‘The Word’, a monthly newsletter for Portsmouth Library services. We launched our first paper edition in May 2006 and are now making current editions available online.

Here you will find information on forthcoming events happening across the city at both Central and the branch libraries. There’s always plenty going on, and we hope that ‘The Word’ will enable you to get the best out of the service we provide. After all, it’s not just about books!
