ContactPoint

ContactPoint logo ContactPoint is a key part of the Government’s Every Child Matters programme to improve outcomes for children and young people.
It will be a secure, online directory of contacts to help authorised staff in their work with children and young people. Using ContactPoint will be the quick way for them to find out who else is working with the same child or young person, making it easier to deliver more coordinated support.

A local implementation team, based in the Children, Families and Learning Directorate, is working with a wide range of organisations who support our local children and young people to ensure a successful start for ContactPoint in Portsmouth from the Government's target date of May 2009.

More information will be made available to children and young people, their families and staff who work with them before ContactPoint comes into use in Portsmouth.

For current information please contact PCC’s ContactPoint Manager, Karen Fill on 023 9284 1462 or by email at Karen.Fill@portsmouthcc.gov.uk.
