Longer novel section for year 8/9 pupils

This year’s Longer Novel Award will be judged by 148 Year 8 and Year 9 pupils from 11 schools. The judges will meet to discuss the shortlist and cast their votes in March, with the winner announced at the Award Celebration event at Action Stations in June.
The 2013 shortlist includes the following books:

- Mark Walden, "Earthfall"
