- Wednesday and Thursday: 9.30am to 6pm
- Friday: 9.30am to 5pm
- Saturday: 10am to 3.30pm
We are closed on Sundays. Opening times will be different on Bank Holidays and at Christmas, contact us for details.

The Friends of Beddow Library
We are looking for volunteers to represent the community when helping shape library services at Beddow Library. You could:
- Fundraise for library resources and equipment
- Run library events
- Encourage alternative use of library space and come up with new ideas

Reading Groups
Beddow Library runs 3 reading groups. The evening group meet every 4 weeks on a Monday from 6.30pm to 8pm, the morning group meet every fourth Thursday from 10am to 11.30am and the afternoon group meet on the last Friday of every month at 2.45pm. Scrabble Club
Scrabble Club meet every Tuesday at 2.30pm.
Reading Activists
This group of young people meet fortnightly on a Tuesday at 5pm. For more information please email libraries@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or call Pat Garrett 07960091722.
Craft Club
If you enjoy craft and would like to share your passion, then this is the club for you! The club meet monthly on Mondays at 2.15pm. If you are interested in joining, call 023 9273 1848:
