Summer Reading Challenge
Looking for a fun way to encourage your kids to keep reading over the Summer holidays? Then why not sign them up to join us on this year’s Summer Reading Challenge? The challenge begins on Saturday 17th July and finishes on the 4th September.
The theme this year is ‘Space Hop’ and there will be intergalactic stickers to collect, alien colouring-in and lots of ‘out of this world’ activities to keep them entertained over the Summer. Contact your nearest branch for full details.
If children read six books they will receive a special certificate and medal and an invitation to the free family day held in September.
You can register at any Portsmouth Library and the staff there will be happy to explain how the Summer Reading Challenge works, or give us a call on 023 9281 9311.
