Enterprise Centres
Last updated: 09 May 2012 10:59 UKPortsmouth City Council own and manage three Enterprise Centres across the city, providing a range of units for industrial and office use and the practical testing of new ideas and products.
We are passionate about providing low cost, adaptable units in a professional and supportive environment. We offer all-inclusive, competitive rates and an easy-in, easy-out licence agreement.
When occupying premises owned by Portsmouth City Council, you will have complete business security and peace of mind as we want your business to succeed and contribute to the growth of our local economy.
The aim of the centres is to help start-up firms and new and growing small businesses, to keep their outlay to a minimum and avoid the binding commitments of a long-term lease. The flexibility of a Licence Agreement makes it possible for small businesses to adapt and grow. Our experience with enterprise centres is that considerable inter-trading can take place between businesses at the centre, creating a ‘market place’ in which many more business connections can develop. Wherever possible, the centre will promote these activities and bring in as many forms of business services as possible. The atmosphere in the centres is friendly and helpful and businesses welcome the supportive environment.
Whether you are just starting up or already an established trader, the Enterprise Centres offer the perfect conditions to develop your business.
We welcome the opportunity to show you how the Enterprise Centres can meet your office or industrial space requirements, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to arrange a viewing.
