City Growth ICT Cluster

City Growth Portsmouth Portsmouth City Council supports the City Growth initiative and works with the ICT cluster on a variety of projects.

If you work for an ICT company or are an ICT professional your help in this programme would be welcomed.  Below are two activities that are easily accessible:

PortIT

PortIT is a prime example of a specific project born from the City Growth ICT Cluster.
It is a network of local, professional business and technology specialists that design, supply, install, maintain and support Information & Communications Technology.  Their aim is to overcome the complexity and confusion that often surrounds the computer and telecoms industry.  Through their wide association of companies they can offer impartial and balanced advice for any organisation.

PortIT welcomes new members and you can find out more about their objectives by visiting their website.

ICT Cluster Networking Meetings

Meeting on the third Thursday of every month, this event aims to bring ICT professionals together from across the city and region.

These events have come about as a direct result of local ICT professionals asking for an opportunity to meet together and benefit from the following:
* sharing of ideas and resources
* inspiring each other
* raising the profile of local companies
* finding opportunities to work together
* keeping abreast of what's happening in and out of the sector.

Meetings are generally informal in nature, and the team is always interested in new suggestions for venues, guest speakers and topics for discussion.
Visit our events page to find out the details for this month's event.
