Matched Funding for Manufacturing Improvement Programmes
Last updated: 14 April 2010 14:43 UKThe Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS-SE) is currently offering up to £1,250 of matched funding towards specialist services to support your business.
Example:
Total Project Cost = £2,500 (or more)
MAS-SE contributes £1,250 and your business contributes £1,250
If you produce, assemble or manufacture a product then they may be able to help support your manufacturing improvement aspirations.
What types of services or projects can be funded?
They are looking to assist programmes of work that can demonstrate added value to your business. These programmes will include some form of third party external specialist support, bringing additional knowledge or skills (possibly temporarily) to your business, and it is this external support that MAS-SE has limited funding to help finance. This support strictly excludes purchase of plant and equipment, though associated training/technical support is acceptable.
e.g.
- Process or product design & development and/or introduction
- Sourcing supplies, services or equipment
- Supply base development
- Scientific or technological skills development
- Engineering research into advanced products and processes
- Improved resource efficiency
- Reduced environmental impact
- Lean and Green programmes
- Developing a medium to long term manufacturing strategy
- ISO accreditation readiness
- Supply base
NB. The above list is not exhaustive. If you have a project in mind that you think may meet the criteria then please call MAS to discuss.
Funding is strictly limited so will be awarded on a first come served basis (subject to meeting criteria/funding availability). Please contact Stuart Wood on 07920 496481 or at stuartwood@mas-se.org.uk or the MAS-SE for further details.
