Sustainable Business Awards
The fifth Sustainable Business Awards will recognise and reward Hampshire and Isle of Wight businesses that have taken action to improve their social, economic and environmental impacts.There are five award categories and one of the category winners will then be crowned overall winner - the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sustainable Business of the Year 2008.
- Small Business Award (any business that has up to 50 employees and not previously won this category)
- Medium Business Award (any business that has between 51 and 250 employees and not previously won this category)
- Large Business Award (any business with over 251 employees and not previously won this category)
- Environmental Innovation and Technology Award (for a product, service or process that results in a reduction of negative environmental and/or social impacts)
- Leadership Award (any business that has made an outstanding contribution to the field of sustainable business. If you are a previous winner of a Sustainable Business Award you may only apply for this category.
Finalists for the Sustainable Business Awards 2008 have been announced. The Awards dinner will be on 21st November 2008 at the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton. Visit their website to find out more.
