Be inspired
Last updated: 12 May 2012 17:54 UKFor many of us the Olympics coming to London this summer is a great source of excitement and inspiration.
Whether you are thinking of getting active or want to be part of the cultural celebration for the games, you can find more information here.
How Portsmouth has already been inspired:
- Springfield School pupil Lauren Linter is the proud designer of the dedicated mascot pin badge for the South East Region
- Portsmouth Music Service has been granted the Inspire mark by the London 2012 Inspire programme for its publication 'Singathlon' - a songbook for primary children with a sporting theme. Songs from this will be performed as part of the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay celebrations here in Portsmouth this July.
- Local artist Jon Adams and his Dysarticulate Flag project which he is now working closely with local schools.
