Fancy cheaper city centre parking?

We are offering motorists a great value parking card, to help them save money on inner city parking.

The pay-as-you-go Park-It card offers city centre parking for just over £3 per day (for eight hours), perfect for anyone commuting into the centre of Portsmouth.

The Park-It card gives users £220 of credit in the Isambard Brunel Multi Storey car park, behind the Guildhall Square, when they top up £80. That’s £140 worth of free parking credit that can be used at the driver’s convenience.

Isambard Brunel Multi Storey car park is central to Commercial Road, Cascades, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth and Southsea train station, Civic Offices, Crown Court and University of Portsmouth buildings. It is well lit with 24 hour CCTV in action.

Michael Robinson, parking manager at the council, said:

“This is a great value scheme that offers safe, secure parking for Portsmouth residents. The Isambard Brunel Multi Storey car park is in a prime location, central to many businesses and offices in the city centre. It’s essential for anyone that is commuting on a regular basis, and looking to save money on their parking costs."

“It’s ideal for anyone driving into the city, be this students coming in for lectures, staff working in the Civic Offices or Crown Court, or people coming in to visit the shops. It’s also great for anyone enjoying evening performances at the Guildhall or New Theatre Royal, because you can park for as long or as little as you like.”

Pick up your Park-It card from the parking office in Alec Rose Lane, below the Isambard Brunel Multi Storey car park, and you’ll never have to worry about change again. There is also a £40 Park-It card available.
