Meet award-winning author Madeline Miller

Orange Prize 2012 award-winning author Madeline Miller, is visiting Portsmouth during her stay in the UK.
On Friday 7 September at 7pm, Southsea Library will host this unique event with guest author Madeline Miller. Here she will share her experiences of what it was like to spend a decade writing her extraordinary debut novel, talk about and read an extract from the novel, answer questions and do a book signing session.
Dom Kippin, Portsmouth City Council’s literature officer said: “The award-winning fiction novel is based on the story of the epic Trojan Wars, which is brilliantly told for a new generation, including Greek and Roman myths.”
“Madeline will be returning to the US, so don’t miss your chance to meet the debut award-winning author.”
Her novel has been translated into 13 different languages and was a New York Times bestseller.
