Eastern Road A2030 – resurfacing works
Last updated: 06 August 2012 08:32Drivers are being asked to avoid a section of Eastern Road from Monday 6th August, while Colas, Portsmouth City Council’s highways contractor, carry out resurfacing works for five nights.
From 8pm to 5.30am, northbound traffic will not be able to use Eastern Road A2030 from Tangier Road to Burffields Road. Southbound traffic will have reduced lanes in use during the works.
Local diversion northbound for Monday 6th August will be Milton Road, Copnor Road, Burrfields Road, Dundas Lane, Airport Service Road and Eastern Road.
Steve Johns, Colas’ surfacing agent, said: “We will be keeping any disruption to a minimum while essential resurfacing work takes place.
“All work is taking place outside in rush times, overnight, to make sure drivers don’t experience delays. We apologise for any inconvenience the work may cause.”
