BIG Green Commuter Challenge

Commuter challenge poster The BIG Green Commuter Challenge is an opportunity to join with other organisations in Portsmouth to encourage a healthier environment and reduce emissions and congestion.  Commuting by more fuel efficient sustainable transport will not only benefit your health and save you money, but will reduce the effect of climate change.

It’s the hottest topic around and everyone wants to be seen to be doing something about it.

Organisations and individuals competed against each other to see which could reducethe most congestion and pollution by cutting miles travelled alone in a car.

Organisations interested in taking part in the BIG Green Commuter Challenge in 2009 should contact Amanda Morris, Travel Plan Officer on amanda.morris@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or 023 9284 1332.
