Sports and Recreation Facilities

Our leisure facilities consist of a number of sport centres, mainly the Mountbatten centre, which is supported by local centres such as Wimbledon Park and four swimming pools. We also have community centres, halls and school facilities which are available out of school hours. The National Lottery sports fund has enabled the development of such schemes, like those at Admiral Lord Nelson, St Luke's and Priory schools. As a council we are keen to expand our citywide network of neighbourhood sports and community centres.
