Animal health

Animal health and welfare legislation is enforced jointly by us and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), in association with other government bodies and independent organisations like the RSPCA. In addition to enforcing legislation we provide a service to assistant in any complaints or concerns raised in respect of all animals domesticated, wild or farm including neglect or ill treatment of livestock on farms, during transport and at markets.
